Megan quickly ushered the girls towards the carport of her parent’s home.

A couple who were sitting on the curb in front of Braums’ noticed two black males in their early twenties circling the parking lot in an Olds Cutlass. They had been out shopping for school supplies for the upcoming school year and had gotten ice cream at the drive-thru at Braum’s Ice Cream Shop. He was also an insurance executive with Howell-Stone Insurance, which was a company that he helped found. Paul was well known in the Edmond area – he was involved in community activities and was a deacon at his local church.
